Does the entrepreneur bear any costs associated with participation in the Program?
The entrepreneur does not bear any additional costs until they reach PLN 100,000 turnover over a 12-month period on individual terminals. If the turnover exceeds this amount, entrepreneurs will be charged in accordance with the contract with the acquirer.
With whom does the entrepreneur sign a contract to join the Program?
If the entrepreneur meets all relevant criteria for joining the Program, the entrepreneur signs an agreement with the selected acquirer (operator of cashless payments) participating in the Program. The agreement is signed for at least 12 months.
What terms will apply after the 12 free months?
All institutions participating in the Cashless Poland Program may offer other terms after 12 free months. For details of cooperation, the entrepreneur should contact the acquirer or bank of their choice.
How many payment terminals may an entrepreneur receive under the Cashless Poland Program?
An entrepreneur may receive a maximum of 3 payment terminals. The free period of 12 months is counted for each terminal separately, from its installation.

What is the “Cashless Poland” Cashless Payment Support Program?
It is a joint initiative of the payment services market participants — the Polish Bank Association, the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, acquirers, and Visa and Mastercard payment organizations.
The goal of the Program is to release entrepreneurs from the costs of payment terminal installation and use for 12 months from its installation.
Acquirer — service provider participating in the Cashless Poland Program which offers entrepreneurs services related to accepting card payments (checking and settling transactions, providing payment terminals).
Merchant — entrepreneur who has already installed a cashless payment terminal at their retail or service outlet.
Entrepreneurs who would like to obtain a payment terminal under the Cashless Poland Program should contact the acquirer of their choice.
Payment terminal — a device used to accept card payments. Under the Cashless Poland Program, you can apply for up to 3 payment terminals in the following categories: POS, Programmable PIN pad, mPOS, SoftPOS.
